M. Sasikumar
Dr Sasikumar did his education from IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore and BITS Pilani. He has been working with CDAC Mumbai (formerly NCST) for over 15 years, and heads its Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology divisions. He is now editor of Vivek, the AI quarterly, published from C-DAC Mumbai. He has been actively involved in organisation of the KBCS international conference series for a number of years, and has been its programme co-chair in 2000, 2002 and 2004. He currently represents India in the TC12 of IFIP.
He has taught a number of courses at post-graduate level in AI and related topics. His areas of research interest within Artificial Intelligence, include planning and scheduling, natural language processing and data mining.
